The 122nd Scandinavian Midsummer Festival

Home of the Scandinavian Athletic Club. Celebrating its 100th Anniversary Jubileum! 1924-2024.


Saturday, June 21st, 2025

Hours: 10:30 - 4:00


Admission $10 per person  - 70 and over $5 - Kids 15 and under free. Must be accompanied by adult (Cash only). Gates open at 10:30. No advanced admission or meal tickets are being sold.


Free Parking 


11:15 am Midsummer Pole Raising Ceremony and Dances. Live music and folk dance. Audience participation encouraged in ring dances! No experience necessary. We'll show you what to do.


12:00 - 3:00 Homemade Swedish Meatball Lunch. Continuous serving. Pavilion and limited air-conditioned Lounge seating. $14 cash only.  ATM available on site. 


Snackholm food and refreshments available all day (cash only, ATM available). 


Cash bar offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Limited quantities of Scandinavian craft beers, mead, cider and aquavit will be available. (Cash only)


The Vikings are Coming! SAC Park welcomes back the Boston Irish Vikings! Viking encampment, ongoing live combat demos, crafts and games. Thrilling entertainment for all ages!


Vendors featuring Scandinavian foods and gifts, DIY flower crowns, homemade baked goods and more! Local legends The Gift Chalet will offer a wide variety of gifts and wares. This replaces their Black Friday sale. (Some vendors will be accepting credit cards.)


Kids activities and crafts. Bouncy castle. 


Tombola and raffles. 

3:00 Raffle winners announced  in the Dome Room.


2025 artists to be announced. Live music: lydia ievins on nyckelharpa and five-string fiddle. Accordionist Dan Mackowiak. Revontulet Dancers. SAC Spelmanslag.


Ample on-site free parking. 


Unfortunately, dogs and pets are not welcome. (Service dogs, of course, are allowed.)


No outside food, beverages, or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the property.


Obviously, no weapons (reproductions or realistic) are allowed.
